Samsung Galaxy S6 — Black screen possible antenna damage

Hi all, I have just replaced the battery in my s6 but when I put it back together had black screen and constant blue notification light. When I took it back apart I discovered that the blue antenna cable had been trapped and pinched. If this cable is shorting would it cause the symptoms described? Any responses and or advice appreciated.
