My device is not booting into Fastboot mode

I use Oneplus one I can't boot into fast boot mode. I checked if i am using the correct key combination it is correct but it doesn't boot. Recovery works just fine. Any suggestions?

Check if your USB cable is connected to the phone. If it is connected then disconnected it and try again. I have used OPO in past This will be solved by just not connecting the phone through USB cable.
