Hi there. I am using a Samsung Galaxy J3 2016. I am using the 3 Mobile Network (UK). I accidentally sent a message to a family member which was meant for a friend. The family member would not be happy with what I have said. Its quite embarassing and I'm a bit upset with my mistake.

The thing is, the rotating circle was appearing when I realised my mistake, it hadn't sent (wasn't dated - which tells me to my knowledge that it was sent) so I quickly turned my phone off. And took my sim card out, put the phone onto airplane mode. I'm afraid to put the sim card back.

When I long hold the message I check the message details. It says sent in the detail box but the status says pending. Does this mean that the message has been marked as sent via the phone but it says pending because the network hasn't yet acquired the message to send out? I hope that makes sense :/

I just want to make sure I haven't made a total mess of the situation. Like I said, this is embarassing and I was wondering if someone could shed some light on the matter and clarify what this message details information all means,

There is a delete for everyone feature. Why didn't you use that.It will be more safer.
BTW if the message shows pending, you are safe.
