Hi....After writing emails...then going to something else...the message comes up....message saved to drafts.
However when I return to the draft folder the header is there.....but after 2 seconds it disappears and the email is gone.
This also happens on my husbands moto g too.
Could you help please?

Is it possible that there is some setting of email that will try to auto-send or discard drafts periodically? (nerd)
Explore settings of your email app, please.

Download size < 0.15 MB. But also accurate enough, ad-free & free.
The minimalist app available on Play Store: https://goo.gl/ws42fN

I haven't found any settings that refer to that....and the emails haven't been sent. They remain only for seconds in the draft folder and cannot be selected as they disappear immediately. Neither are they in the bin

That's weird. There isn't any setting that deletes the draft automatically.

Try this.

  1. Compose a new message.

  2. As you do this, click the three vertical dotted line in the right corner of the screen as seen in the picture.

  3. Select "Settings"

  4. Select "General Settings"

  5. At the top of the screen you should see an option "Gmail default action;" click on this. Make sure the option "Archive" is selected NOT "Delete."
