Motorola Moto G 4G — Sounds

Went to bed three nights and the sounds were up and all was working.
When I woke no sounds, no rings, no sound on movies nothing. Its new I bought it in June.
So I did the simple turned it off then on.
Still nothing. Put in my head set and there are sounds, rings, notifications and I rarely use my head set.
Is there a simple fix or do I need to send it back.

Hello Mary, welcome to AndroidPIT! :)

It sounds to me like the speaker is not working, kind of strange that it happens after just 2 months, but definitely possible.
I would go back to the shop and get it fixed. If you tried turning it off and on again and all settings are correct (volume etc.) there is not much else you can do.
