Samsung Galaxy S6 — Glue for vinyl backing of S6?

The vinyl backing on my 6-month-old S6 is coming loose. What glue should I use to re-affix the vinyl?

Hello Kerrith, welcome to AndroidPIT! :)

I would actually not fix it myself but get it fixed by Samsung. This is not something that should happen after using the phone for a year :(

I don't want to be without it for several weeks so I'd rather find some glue, probably some kind of contact cement.

Im fairly sure there is no vinal on the back of an s6 .. was that not the big thing about it . .. it was glass front and back and aluminium frame... are u goofed up on goofeballs

Hi Arron,

Yikes, you're right. I forgot that my zippered wallet-type S6 purse came with a thin magnetic back that snapped seamlessly onto the back of the S6 to hold it firmly when it's in the purse. It's the vinyl backing on the magnetic back that's coming loose.

Now I'm, not so worried; I'm thinking any contact cement will work. Thanks muchly.
