Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 — Lock

I protected my galaxy Note 5 with finger print lock and operated for sometime,
after restart the device asked password before finger print, actually I didn't set any password,
I dont know the Password, now what to do. I cannot work with my device. I am fedup.

Hello Wyndvalley, welcome to AndroidPIT! :)

Whenever you set a fingerprint, you normally have to set a password first. It's a securtiy feature, so whenever the fingerprint isn't working or you reboot your device, you can input the pin.

Are you really sure you didn't set up a pin first?

Try dialing 0000 if you have not set the pin.
