I am not adept at working with Android phones. Pretty good with PC, but not these phones. I need some help. We have had this phone several years. Recently my wife complained the phone was unresponsive. It was. Not experienced at troubleshooting these I did a full reset to factory setup. It was fine upon reboot. Just minutes later it became sluggish and freezing.
I read a lot on how to address this. One thing was disabling Google Play Services and uninstalling Google Play Store updates. I did this and the phone is fine now. Only issue is I have not Google Play.
Can someone point me to step by step instructions on how to correctly install the correct version of these?
