After installing apk Google play store, now says store stopped and then displays Google play services need update

So what's stopping you from updating Google Play?

Maybe that apk is outdated?

I couldn't download any apps. Which also meant couldnt download updates. Did the usual "try this first" countless times. Found my problem to be I cleared a certificate in my exchange services. Had to do a appInstaller and a certificate installer.... that fixed it.. no more errors.. thanks everyone
