Well, this just means that the internal memory of your device is low in order to correct it either you should uninstall some application from your device internal storage or what you can do is purchase a SD card and try moving the images, music files to the SD this should free up some of your device internal storage.

Thanks for the great tips John!
Here are some more tips:
Settings > Applications > Manage applications on your Android. Select apps that you use a lot to and clear the cache, simply by pressing the Clear cache button. Some apps cached apps are Maps, Google Play Store, the Internet app, Gallery... You can also bpress clear data to reset the app's settings (it wont delete any info)
You can install an app to do all the work for you like Clean Master, 1-Click Clean etc. I've talked about quite a few in a recent article:
