If you like Google Now you can do a couple of things to make it easier to use on your Galaxy S4.
The best method is to disable double tap on the home button from launching S Voice (from within S Voice settings) and then reassigning that action to launching Google Now with an app called Home2 Shortcut.

You can do a couple of other things too, like long-pressing the menu button on the home screen to bring up the Google Search bar with your Google Now cards displayed underneath. You can also long press the Home button to bring up the recent apps list and tap the G in the center at the bottom to access Google Search.
