In addition to the ways mentioned, the final resort is a repair tool like TunesKit to fix the issue.
Select Users and accounts or Passwords and accounts. Select WhatsApp from the list and then tap on Account sync. Tap on the toggle button next to contacts to force the phone to perform a contacts sync. Check if the contacts reappear on WhatsApp.

Choose between Users and accounts and Passwords and accounts. Tap on Account sync after selecting [WhatsApp][1] from the list. To force the phone to sync contacts, press the toggle button next to contacts. Check to see if the contacts have reappeared on [WhatsApp][1].

Nice post. Going good in sharing information. I recommend to all read and apply this. You will get solution for sure..
There could be several reasons why your contacts are not showing up in WhatsApp. Here are some possible solutions to try:
Check your phone's contact settings: Make sure that WhatsApp is allowed to access your phone's contacts. On Android, go to Settings > Apps > WhatsApp > Permissions > Contacts. On iPhone, go to Settings > Privacy > Contacts > WhatsApp and make sure that the toggle is turned on.
Refresh your contacts: If you recently added a new contact to your phone, it may take some time for WhatsApp to sync the contact list. Try restarting your phone or force-closing and reopening WhatsApp to refresh your contacts.
Update WhatsApp: Make sure you have the latest version of WhatsApp installed. You can check for updates in the Google Play Store (Android) or the App Store (iPhone).
Check for contact filters: In WhatsApp, go to Settings > Contacts and check if you have any contact filters applied. If so, try removing the filters to see if your contacts appear.
Check your account settings: Make sure that your phone number is properly registered with WhatsApp. Go to Settings > Account > Change Number to check if your number is verified.
If none of these solutions work, try uninstalling and reinstalling WhatsApp. If the problem persists, contact WhatsApp support for further assistance.

If your contacts are not showing in WhatsApp, follow these steps to fix the issue:
Ensure your friend's phone number is in your address book.
Confirm your friend is using WhatsApp.
Update WhatsApp to the latest version if needed.
In your Android phone book, ensure all contact accounts (SIM, Google, Phone) and groups (Friends, Family) are set to "visible."
Try making contacts "not visible" and then "visible" to force a refresh. Launch WhatsApp > Contact list > Menu Button (⋮) > Refresh.
Alternatively, use all your contacts, not just the "visible" ones. Go to Menu Button > Settings > Contacts > Show all contacts.
By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the issue of contacts not appearing in WhatsApp.
There are a few reasons why your contacts might not be showing in WhatsApp. Here are some things you can check:
Make sure that you have granted WhatsApp permission to access your contacts. To do this, open your phone's settings, go to Apps & notifications, tap WhatsApp, and then tap Permissions. Make sure that the Contacts permission is turned on.
Check your internet connection. WhatsApp needs an internet connection to sync your contacts. If you don't have a strong internet connection, your contacts may not sync properly.
Restart your phone. Sometimes, restarting your phone can fix minor issues.
Update WhatsApp. If you are using an outdated version of WhatsApp, there may be a bug that is causing your contacts not to show. Update WhatsApp to the latest version to see if this fixes the issue.
Clear WhatsApp cache and data. This will delete all of the temporary data that is stored in WhatsApp, including your contact list. To do this, open your phone's settings, go to Apps & notifications, tap WhatsApp, and then tap Storage & cache. Tap Clear cache and then tap Clear data.
Reinstall WhatsApp. This will delete the app and all of its data, including your contact list. To do this, open your phone's app store and uninstall WhatsApp. Then, reinstall the app from the app store.
If you have tried all of these things and your contacts are still not showing in WhatsApp, you can contact WhatsApp support for help.
Here are the steps on how to contact WhatsApp support:
Open the WhatsApp app.
Tap the three vertical dots in the top right corner of the screen.
Tap "Help".
Tap "Contact Us".
Choose a category that best describes your issue (e.g., "Contacts not showing").
Follow the prompts to submit your request to WhatsApp support.
WhatsApp support will usually respond to your request within 24 hours.
