I'm own a nexus one, and the past few days iv seen a lot of new posts that google has officially reslised the 2.2 froyo OTA update. I'm still on the 2.1 since I bought the phone. Can someone tell me what's going on here, and when should I be expecting the notification for the update?
ps. has any one got the OTA update?

Where do you live? That can play a big part of when you get the update.

Additionally, updates generally get rolled out in stages. You can look around the web for tutorials on how to install the latest version of Android 2.2 for your phone if you want. You don't even need root from what I have understood.

I see that people are posting that they got the update. I live in serbia, Europe and I think that the update won't be location based. it just needs a conection with google servers.

From what I understand, you can wait until your network sends you the update Over The Air, or you can go directly to the Google servers and DL/install it from there. Let us know how it goes when you do it.

If you would like to make a post on the forums (or submit a correctly formatted blog post) reviewing the changes, that would be great. It is always good to have someone in the community letting the rest of us know what's happening.

Hey....Just wondering if we could pull together a petition for a Cake Central iPhone app? Wishful thinking...wouldn't it be great to be able to pull p CC on my phone while waiting to get seen at the doctors, or look up my fave recipes when I'm at the grocery store.....

I have heard many rumours about it, I am kind of excited about it can't wait to use it. I have heard it would be damn smart, simple and easy to use.
