Hi,

I bought a Xiaomi Redmi 4 and made a Samsung account that is linked to this phone.

Recently, I was compelled to do a factory reset. Every time I go through the steps of opening my phone, there is a step asking for the Samsung account's email and password to see if it belongs to me.

I typed the SAME email I ever used in this phone. But always a message shows saying "processing failed". I changed the password from the website "account.samsung.com" and waited for 2 days but still have the same problem.

What can I do? If I deleted my samsung account from PC website would it stop asking for my account info on my phone?

Please help me regarding this issue.

Thanks.

Is your phone connected to network when on the step of entering Samsung account? The new password might have not been synced to your phone. Just a guess.

How did you make a Samsung account link to a Xiaomi Android device?

You may try both 'Wipe Data/ Factory Reset' and 'Wipe Cache Partition' via the Recovery Menu for your Redmi 4.

Download size < 0.15 MB. But also accurate enough, ad-free & free.
