500: maintenance mode

Greetings from the Engine Room!

Sorry, but there's really nothing to see here right now. Our server is in maintenance mode – and our little bot is trying to sort the error messages with its last bit of energy.

Whether it was a data leak, a power outage in the cluster, or just a grumpy bit – we don't know yet. But what we do know is:

The data drama escalated into a server meltdown. But don't worry: We're on it.

What now?

  • Everything is surely running smoothly over at our colleagues from inside digital – why not stop by!
  • Or you could pass the time by visiting our social media channels – for example Instagram, YouTube or TikTok. At least there are no server problems there – promised.

Thanks for your patience. Our bot is already rebooting at full speed. 🔧

Motorola Moto G 4G (2015) review: slight improvement to a proven formula
It’s getting hard to keep track of all the Moto G variants out there, so we need to stress that the phone we’re reviewing here isn’t the 3rd-gen Moto G (which is expected to come out later in the year) but a small update to the 2nd-gen Moto G (2014) equipped with LTE. Are you still following us? This phone, the Moto G 4G (2015) makes some slight improvements on its predecessor, but is it enough to hold onto the budget smartphone crown? Or are there better options now available? Read our Moto G 4G (2015) review to find out. Best Android phones of 2015 Best Android apps of 2015

HTC One M9 review: familiar on the outside, fresh on the inside
The HTC One M9 was one of the most eagerly anticipated flagship smartphones of 2015.  This was largely thanks to the success of the HTC One M8 in 2014, which blew everyone away with its stunning design, neat interface, and powerful internals. The One M8 did leave a few crinkles that needed ironing out, mainly in the form of an experimental 4 MP ‘UltraPixel’ camera, so there was some work for the M9 to do this year alongside the regular chipset upgrade expected from an annual flagship successor. HTC One M9 tips and tricks Best Android phones of 2015 With an octa-core processor, much-improved 20.7 MP camera, and some nifty features that come with the latest Sense UI, the HTC One M9 has taken big steps in some areas, while in others – such as the display and design – remains unchanged. Read our HTC One M9 review to find out whether this is for better or worse.

HTC One M9 camera beaten by three-year-old smartphones in latest test
An in-depth HTC One M9 camera test has revealed that its technical capabilities are lower than that of the three-year-old Samsung Galaxy S3 and Apple iPhone 4s, which was released in 2011. As the HTC One M9 was only released in March 2015, this result may come as something of a surprise.   HTC One M9 tips and tricks Buy Now: HTC One M9 from Verizon | AT&T | Sprint | T-Mobile

Snapdragon 810 vs 808: are 8 cores really better than 6?
When the LG G4 was released, some questioned LG’s decision to use a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 chipset, which – on paper at least – is weaker than the octa-core Snapdragon 810. We put this to the test by putting the 808-based LG G4 against the 810-based HTC One M9 through some rigorous benchmarking and multitasking. Read on for our Snapdragon 810 vs 808 comparison.
