500: maintenance mode

Greetings from the Engine Room!

Sorry, but there's really nothing to see here right now. Our server is in maintenance mode – and our little bot is trying to sort the error messages with its last bit of energy.

Whether it was a data leak, a power outage in the cluster, or just a grumpy bit – we don't know yet. But what we do know is:

The data drama escalated into a server meltdown. But don't worry: We're on it.

What now?

  • Everything is surely running smoothly over at our colleagues from inside digital – why not stop by!
  • Or you could pass the time by visiting our social media channels – for example Instagram, YouTube or TikTok. At least there are no server problems there – promised.

Thanks for your patience. Our bot is already rebooting at full speed. 🔧

Huawei P8 review: Does Huawei’s flagship ascend above all others?
Huawei’s confident march into western smartphone markets continues with the Huawei P8 – a top-end device that would be a guaranteed hit were brand recognition not so important to a smartphone’s success. With the Ascend Mate 7 and the Ascend P7, Huawei proved that it can mix it up with the best phones from more established manufacturers, all the while donning lower price tags. The Huawei P8 (not Huawei Ascend P8, as was previously rumored) has made improvements on its predecessors in terms of both design and power, while not making huge leaps with its software and UI. Read our Huawei P8 review to find out everything you need about this powerful phone’s hardware, software, price, specs, release date, and more. HTC One M8 review: looks great, but still worth buying?
When we did our initial HTC One M8 review last year, we were in awe of the phone’s stunning design. It was more than just a pretty chassis too, complemented by powerful hardware and genuinely useful, unintrusive software. But a new generation of flagships has since arrived in the form of the HTC One M9, LG G4. Is HTC’s flagship of yesteryear still capable of mixing it up with the best of them? Read our updated HTC One M8 review to see how it holds up. HTC One M9 vs. HTC One (M8) comparison HTC One M8 Android update news HTC One M8 tips and tricks

LG G Flex 2 review: ahead of the curve
The first phone to be curved and flexible, the original LG G Flex suffered from a few issues like a weak camera, low resolution display with ghosting problems and a high price tag. While the price tag may have come down in the new LG G Flex 2, lots of other things have improved and the G Flex successor is a force to be reckoned with. Find out just how much in our LG G Flex 2 review.

Honor 6 Plus review: powerful device in a solid, simple body [hands-on]
The Honor wing of Huawei has proven it can deliver solid performance on a rock-bottom budget (see our Honor Holly review), and now it’s fighting for a share of the upper end of the smartphone market with the Honor 6 Plus. The 6 Plus improves on the Honor 6 in several ways, with a bigger screen, bigger battery, and an experimental UltraPixel camera that’s caught our curiosity. Read on for our hands-on Honor 6 Plus review.

Motorola Moto E (2015) review: Lollipop and 4G on a budget
The original Moto E was a dinky entry-level smartphone that offered the perks of an up-to-date operating system while letting you perform most tasks without much flashiness. The Moto E (2015) features a quad-core processor, Android Lollipop and 4G, but is externally identical to its predecessor. This gives it the framework of a solid, all-rounder handset. Read our Moto E (2015) review to find out if a few tweaks here and there are enough to make it a winning entry-level handset.

HTC Vive review: the best thing in virtual reality yet [hands-on]
HTC has presented an early version of its new virtual reality headset called Vive at MWC 2015. Vive represents the fruits of a partnership with Valve to bring a VR device to HTC’s product lineup and to consumers at large. It’s a bulky thing, like most VR headsets, but the experience it offers is unparalleled. And this was only a prototype with sample demos on board. Get a feel for the ‘new real’ in our hands-on HTC Vive review.
