Whether it was a data leak, a power outage in the cluster, or just a grumpy bit – we don't know yet.
But what we do know is:
The data drama escalated into a server meltdown. But don't worry: We're on it.
What now?
Everything is surely running smoothly over at our colleagues from inside

NewsTabletSamsung’s Vanilla Galaxy S24 Leaked in All Its Glory
These past weeks have seen the Internet flooded with Galaxy S24 leaks. This is not surprising at all considering the flagship trio is expected to be announced by Samsung in January 2024. Following initial renders of the range that we spotted earlier this December, a set of official marketing images of the smallest vanilla Galaxy S24 model in its four colorways have appeared, confirming the numerous changes that are due.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Colors
The most apparent point from this leak is the four standard color options planned for the Galaxy S24 (Plus). These comprise Onyx Black, Marble Gray, Cobalt Violet, and Amber Yellow according to Android Headlines. There will also be orange, green, and blue finishes which will remain exclusive to selected Samsung retail channels just like how it was when the Galaxy S23 FE (review) was launched.
As for the design, the display gets the same flat top glass as the Galaxy S23 (review), but is touted to be a wee bit wider at 6.2-inch from 6.1-inch. The bezels do appear to be equal on all four sides, although it’s unclear whether the thickness is reduced.
Furthermore, the aluminum frame appears to be flatter than before and houses the volume rocker and power button on the right. It’s believed the frame is made of an aluminum alloy similar to the predecessor while the new titanium chassis is exclusive to the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Flipping the device to the back, a familiar triple camera module in a floating lens design is spotted. There was no mention of the type of glass the back panel on the Galaxy S24 uses, although Corning’s custom Gorilla Glass Armor is rumored to feature here. There does seem to be a hint of beveled edges that meet at the frame.
The bottom and top portions of the handset were not exposed. However, previous renders suggested the speaker grill uses a single slit cut at the bottom. This is located at the side of the USB-C port alongside the SIM card tray and microphones.
Samsung Galaxy S24 specifications
In terms of key specifications, the standard Galaxy S24 is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC while markets outside the US may receive an Exynos 2400-powered variant. The memory configuration for the handset was confirmed to consist of 8 GB RAM and 128 GB onboard storage in the base model. However, there are reports that some countries will receive 256 GB of onboard storage at the lowest tier.
Camera-wise, the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ should retain the same 50 MP primary sensor complemented by a 12 MP ultra-wide and 10 MP telephoto sensors. Meanwhile, both battery capacities are touted to be larger on these upcoming handsets, though charging speeds are likely to remain the same.
The beefier specifications and new features could be good news for fans as the Galaxy S24 (Plus) and Galaxy S24 Ultra are reportedly priced similarly to their predecessors.
