500: maintenance mode

Greetings from the Engine Room!

Sorry, but there's really nothing to see here right now. Our server is in maintenance mode – and our little bot is trying to sort the error messages with its last bit of energy.

Whether it was a data leak, a power outage in the cluster, or just a grumpy bit – we don't know yet. But what we do know is:

The data drama escalated into a server meltdown. But don't worry: We're on it.

What now?

  • Everything is surely running smoothly over at our colleagues from inside digital – why not stop by!
  • Or you could pass the time by visiting our social media channels – for example Instagram, YouTube or TikTok. At least there are no server problems there – promised.

Thanks for your patience. Our bot is already rebooting at full speed. 🔧

OnePlus 2 review: hype machine
The OnePlus One was one of the standout Android devices of 2014. A new manufacturer entering the Android game with a merely average device would have been a marvel, but introducing a high-performance, low-cost handset like OnePlus did was completely unexpected. Now the company has released the sequel to that device, the OnePlus 2. After thundering into the Android world, will OnePlus find that lightning can strike twice? Read on for our OnePlus 2 review. OnePlus 3 review OnePlus One review Update: On June 1, 2016, we learned that the OnePlus 2 would be available to buy directly through Amazon US and UK. Head to our ‘release date and price’ section for all the details.

Sony Xperia X review: high price for mid-range
The new Sony Xperia X arrives alongside the XA and, in some countries, the X Performance, a trio that slays the Z series. The Xperia X is the middle child of the three new models, and its market positioning is complicated: it’s more expensive than its predecessor, the Z5, but technically less lavish. Here we take a close look at the Xperia X’s strengths and weaknesses. Sony Xperia XA review Sony Xperia X Performance review

OnePlus One review: not quite the one
What characteristics must a smartphone have to be a flagship killer? According to OnePlus, there are many factors that will play a role here: tech specs, design, and above all, added value for the user and a low price. On paper, the OnePlus One offers some impressive hardware for an unbeatable price. Whether the smartphone can really live up to and maintain its goal and various promises can be discovered in our hands-on review. iPhone SE review: the small alternative
I’ve thoroughly tested the Apple iPhone SE and iOS after an arduous three-week experiment. As a journalist writing exclusively about Android, the new 4-inch iPhone has given me insight into another world of smartphones. I’ve compiled the results of the experiment – distilled through an Android perspective – to weigh up this phone’s strengths and weaknesses. Does this mark a new phase in evolution of smartphones, or is it just an exercise in re-purposing old technology? Find out in this Apple iPhone SE review.
