500: maintenance mode

Greetings from the Engine Room!

Sorry, but there's really nothing to see here right now. Our server is in maintenance mode – and our little bot is trying to sort the error messages with its last bit of energy.

Whether it was a data leak, a power outage in the cluster, or just a grumpy bit – we don't know yet. But what we do know is:

The data drama escalated into a server meltdown. But don't worry: We're on it.

What now?

  • Everything is surely running smoothly over at our colleagues from inside digital – why not stop by!
  • Or you could pass the time by visiting our social media channels – for example Instagram, YouTube or TikTok. At least there are no server problems there – promised.

Thanks for your patience. Our bot is already rebooting at full speed. 🔧

Android Nougat review: New features only for new phones
In reviewing Android Nougat, it became distinctly clear that many of the features are reserved for users of new devices. Initially, it should be considered as a limited update but to be honest, it is by no means the update we’ve been waiting for. The good features are only available on new smartphones and the best ones only on the Pixel. Android 7.0 Nougat update: Overview for smartphones and tablets Android Nougat tips and tricks

Here’s what I think of the Honor 8 after using it for two months
It’s been almost 2 months since I used the Honor 8 smartphone, the latest flagship from the Chinese brand. Introduced as one of the best value for money smartphones of this year, I must admit that I was rather satisfied with its general performance even though there were also things that I didn’t like about it. I am finally ready to share my Honor 8 user experience with you. Honor 8 review Honor 8 vs Galaxy S7

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 review: the best and worst of smartphones
This is the best and most disastrous smartphone Samsung has built in 20 years. The chances of you owning this device, the latest of one of the most successful smartphone series on the market, is limited because Samsung recalled it then stopped production of it after there were reports of the battery pack exploding. Nevertheless, I had a chance to test the 5.66-inch phablet and discovered that, critical battery flaw aside, the Note 7 is an incredible handset.  Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge review Samsung Galaxy Note 5 review

Hands-on Lenovo P2 review: the battery beast
This past week, Lenovo introduced some of its new smartphones at IFA 2016, the Berlin tech conference. After a positive surprise with the Moto Z Play, this weekend it was the Lenovo P2’s turn to leave a great impression on me. The reason for this is simple: an excellent battery paired with an elegant design.
