500: maintenance mode

Greetings from the Engine Room!

Sorry, but there's really nothing to see here right now. Our server is in maintenance mode – and our little bot is trying to sort the error messages with its last bit of energy.

Whether it was a data leak, a power outage in the cluster, or just a grumpy bit – we don't know yet. But what we do know is:

The data drama escalated into a server meltdown. But don't worry: We're on it.

What now?

  • Everything is surely running smoothly over at our colleagues from inside digital – why not stop by!
  • Or you could pass the time by visiting our social media channels – for example Instagram, YouTube or TikTok. At least there are no server problems there – promised.

Thanks for your patience. Our bot is already rebooting at full speed. 🔧

Sony’s New Phone Faces Issues so Serious that Sales Have Been Stopped
While Sony has been overtaken by many Android brands , including Chinese companies, Samsung, and Google, it continues to produce smartphones through its  Xperia line. This is helmed by the Xperia 1 series, with the Xperia 1 VII as the latest generation. The device brought meaningful upgrades from its predecessor, but it seems to be facing a major hiccup during launch, even resulting in Sony halting sales.

Samsung Phones Crush iPhones in New Battery Test
Samsung’s Galaxy smartphones haven’t always been known for having the longest battery life or the fastest charging speed, but they generally offer a good balance of features and better long-term durability. Interestingly, this is now being proven by the EU energy label (EPREL), which suggests devices from the South Korean manufacturer Samsung offer higher battery charge cycles.

Naked on FaceTime? Your iPhone’s New Tool is Always Watching
While iOS 26 introduced big changes, including the Liquid Glass design and a revamped camera, those might not be the most attention-grabbing additions to the software. A newly discovered feature inside the FaceTime app, which automatically freezes video calls when it detects nudity, seems to be the weirdest, if not prudish, so far.
