500: maintenance mode

Greetings from the Engine Room!

Sorry, but there's really nothing to see here right now. Our server is in maintenance mode – and our little bot is trying to sort the error messages with its last bit of energy.

Whether it was a data leak, a power outage in the cluster, or just a grumpy bit – we don't know yet. But what we do know is:

The data drama escalated into a server meltdown. But don't worry: We're on it.

What now?

  • Everything is surely running smoothly over at our colleagues from inside digital – why not stop by!
  • Or you could pass the time by visiting our social media channels – for example Instagram, YouTube or TikTok. At least there are no server problems there – promised.

Thanks for your patience. Our bot is already rebooting at full speed. 🔧

TABLET
Google Pixel 4 XL review: the big wait for software updates
With the new Pixel 4 XL, Google leaves the paths of the previous Pixel generations. New design, a second camera, and instead of a fingerprint sensor only Face Unlock and a radar chip, which allows for motion control. Are these qualities that make this one of the best smartphones for 2019? Perhaps, if Google hadn’t made too many questionable decisions.

Nokia 7.2 review: a rare false step for HMD Global
HMD Global knows how to do mid-range phones. The formula up until now has been simple: clean software, great build quality, and few gimmicks. The Nokia 7.2 continues a lot of that succesful strategy, but in reaching for higher ambitions also makes a few sloppy errors. Here’s our full review.

BeatsX headphones review: good value for money
Beats does not only offer high-end headphones. The American manufacturer, now owned by Apple, also offers more affordable products. The BeatsX are designed to offer good sound quality at a price below $100. But how do these headphones really perform on a daily basis? We tested them for several weeks.

iPhone 11 Pro review: Apple’s masterpiece has its price
Like every year in autumn, Apple has introduced its new iPhones. Two of the three devices now have the “Pro” suffix in their name. Otherwise, the design hasn’t changed much, but the hardware has. After taking a close look at the iPhone 11 Pro Max, here’s a look at the iPhone 11 Pro – perhaps the best of the three.

Nubia Z20 review: the dual-screen smartphone
The Nubia Z20 is the last flagship from the Chinese manufacturer to land in Europe. Like the Vivo NEX Dual Display Edition and Meizu Pro 7, the smartphone offers two screens: one on each side of the device. If the concept is original in a market that lacks innovation, you have to wonder about its usefulness. So, how does the Nubia Z20 work on a daily basis? Is this the pleasant surprise of the end of 2019? The answer is in our complete review.
