500: maintenance mode

Greetings from the Engine Room!

Sorry, but there's really nothing to see here right now. Our server is in maintenance mode – and our little bot is trying to sort the error messages with its last bit of energy.

Whether it was a data leak, a power outage in the cluster, or just a grumpy bit – we don't know yet. But what we do know is:

The data drama escalated into a server meltdown. But don't worry: We're on it.

What now?

  • Everything is surely running smoothly over at our colleagues from inside digital – why not stop by!
  • Or you could pass the time by visiting our social media channels – for example Instagram, YouTube or TikTok. At least there are no server problems there – promised.

Thanks for your patience. Our bot is already rebooting at full speed. 🔧

Apple iPhone 11 camera review: better than Android smartphones?

However, with its new iPhone, the Cupertino-based company wants to get things in order. Did it succeed? Is that enough to become the new king of photophones? The answer is in this article!

Sony Xperia 5 review: a niche phone for 21:9 fans only
The Sony Xperia 5 is basically a somewhat shrunken version of the Sony Xperia 1. Sony saved the additional ‘Compact’ name for a good reason. Here, too, the Japanese manufacturer relies on a tall display. Do you think there are any advantages to this?

Realme 5 review: a convincing move upmarket
Realme is ambitious and the new generation of smartphones unveiled in India last August is proof of this. The Realme 5 is an affordable mid-range smartphone that offers a quadruple camera and an interesting technical spec sheet. But what is it worth on a daily basis? After more than a week spent with it, it is time for our full review.

100 days with the Google Pixel 3a: the $400 phone I keep going back to
Google was bold when it decided to enter the mid-range market. Competition in the $400-$500 price range is fierce, especially in Europe where brands like Xiaomi and Oppo are more widely available than in the U.S. But if Mountain View was testing the water with this device, my advice is simple: dive straight in!

Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max review: more Pro than not
The iPhone 11 Pro is the first and probably the last of its kind. It is the first Pro model of the iPhone and joins the ranks of the iPad Pro, MacBook Pro and Mac Pro. An “iPhone for professionals”. An iPhone for those for whom a smartphone is a tool and instrument. An iPhone for those who are willing to dig a little deeper into their pockets for the maximum feature set. This is the best iPhone Apple has to offer, isn’t it?

Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max camera review: back on top
For years, the iPhone was regarded as the ultimate in smartphone photography. Supported by Apple’s extremely successful #ShotoniPhone marketing campaign, an appropriate technical term for iPhone photography was even established: iPhoneography.
