500: maintenance mode

Greetings from the Engine Room!

Sorry, but there's really nothing to see here right now. Our server is in maintenance mode – and our little bot is trying to sort the error messages with its last bit of energy.

Whether it was a data leak, a power outage in the cluster, or just a grumpy bit – we don't know yet. But what we do know is:

The data drama escalated into a server meltdown. But don't worry: We're on it.

What now?

  • Everything is surely running smoothly over at our colleagues from inside digital – why not stop by!
  • Or you could pass the time by visiting our social media channels – for example Instagram, YouTube or TikTok. At least there are no server problems there – promised.

Thanks for your patience. Our bot is already rebooting at full speed. 🔧

Sony Xperia 10 review: the cinema in your pocket
There’s no need to get an Xperia 1 if you want a 21:9 “cinema” screen, Sony offers it on its Xperia 10 and 10 Plus. We were able to test the Xperia 10 to show you what the new mid-range from Sony is capable of in its smaller but also more affordable version.

Samsung Galaxy S10 review: a fantastic phone with a familiar flaw
For ten years now, Samsung has been providing the world with outstanding smartphones with its Galaxy-S series. The Galaxy phones even come in a pack of four for a special birthday. The Lenovo Smart Display has been out for some time in the US, but it is starting to turn up on European markets now too. We checked it out to see if adding a screen to your digital assistant is the next logical evolution of this smart home technology.

Samsung Galaxy S10e review: we could’ve had it all
The Galaxy Fold and the S10 Plus might have stolen the show at Unpacked 2019, but there’s one other phone you shouldn’t overlook. The Samsung Galaxy S10e is the smallest among the new flagship line, but it’s by no means the least impressive. With its relatively compact size, terrific specs and powerful performance, it could be the sleeper hit which no one anticipated. However, it’s not without its flaws. Let’s see how it fared in our full review.

Redmi Note 7 review: that’s a hard "yes"!
If there is one market segment in which Xiaomi has always been extremely competitive, it is that of cheap smartphones. The new Redmi sub brand is oriented towards this mid to low end of the market, and the Note 7 is its debut. I had the chance to try this entry level 48MP camera smartphone while waiting for the official launch. To say that I was convinced by it would be a severe understatement.

Samsung Galaxy S10+ review: a flagship with (few) compromises
After hearing far too often that the Galaxy S9 and S9+ were simply a boring update of the previous generation, another year has finally passed, and Samsung once again has presented the new high-end Galaxy S line. After a whole week spent in the company of Galaxy S10+ I am ready to discuss its every aspect in this full review.

Acer Spin 13 review: the all-rounder Chromebook
I’ve been using the Acer Chromebook Spin 13 for a few weeks now, both as a personal laptop and as a replacement for my office PC. Energizer Power Max P18K Pop: hands-on with the battery beast
This year’s edition of MWC is definitely full of surprises and crazy announcements. The latest one comes from Energizer (you know, the battery brand with the rabbit mascot) and its Power Max P18K Pop smartphone. A giant 18,000 mAh battery! Curious as we are, we just had to get our hands on this unusual smartphone.

We tried the Mate X, Huawei’s folding smartphone
It didn’t take long for Huawei to respond to Samsung with its own folding smartphone. A few days after the presentation of the Galaxy Fold at the Unpacked event for the launch of the Galaxy S10, the Chinese manufacturer also unveiled its own folding smartphone, the Mate X. We were very lucky to be able to get our hands on the device for a few minutes and here are our first (very good) impressions.
