Sorry, but there's really nothing to see here right now. Our server is in maintenance mode – and our
little bot is trying to sort the error messages with its last bit of energy.
Whether it was a data leak, a power outage in the cluster, or just a grumpy bit – we don't know yet.
But what we do know is:
The data drama escalated into a server meltdown. But don't worry: We're on it.
What now?
Everything is surely running smoothly over at our colleagues from inside
digital – why not stop by!
Or you could pass the time by visiting our social media channels – for example Instagram, YouTube or TikTok. At least there are no
server problems there – promised.
Thanks for your patience. Our bot is already rebooting at full speed. 🔧
NewsSamsung to Fix Battery Life Woes on Galaxy Watch 7 via an Update
With Samsung arming the new Galaxy Watch 7 with a more efficient processor, you can expect better battery life over its predecessor. However, the experience of first-hand users seem to contradict that as some have reported experiencing drastic battery drain. Apparently, Samsung has acknowledged that the battery issue does exist and pledged to release a fix soon.

Since the new wave of Galaxy smartwatches hit the scene last week, numerous complaints have surfaced over Reddit, X, and Samsung’s community forums concerning the unusual battery life drop particularly with the Galaxy Watch 7.
There were cases where the Galaxy Watch 7’s battery life dropped from a full charge in the morning to a single digit in the evening. A few users also complained that their smartwatch battery was at 100 percent before sleeping, only to find the battery level is almost depleted upon waking up.
As confirmed by a Samsung representative on the South Korean community forum (via Android Police), they’ve identified a software bug that causes the excessive battery drain on the Galaxy Watch 7. Thankfully, they have promised to ship a software update for the Galaxy Watch model to address the glitch.
Is there a temporary fix for the Galaxy Watch 7’s battery woes?
There is no exact date when the update will be released, though. However, several affected users have taken some temporary measures to solve the problem, with some having proven effective. For instance, performing a factory reset on the Galaxy Watch 7 worked for some users while others suggested disabling Google’s assistant and the Always-on Display mode.
Even so, some recommended having their affected Galaxy Watch 7 replaced at Samsung stores or retailers from which they purchased the unit from.
The issue seems to impact only a small number of users as opposed to being widespread and is an isolated affair, with the Galaxy Watch 7 and not the Galaxy Ultra (review) affected. Our Galaxy Watch 7 review unit did not experience any unusual battery life drop, but we’re definitely looking for any signs as we prepare to publish our full review.
