Whether it was a data leak, a power outage in the cluster, or just a grumpy bit – we don't know yet. But what we do know is:

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Review: the value-for-money king

While Apple, Google, and OnePlus are (re)discovering the mid-range smartphone market for themselves in 2020, this happens to be old hat for Xiaomi. The Chinese manufacturer has mastered the world of inexpensive smartphones that offer plenty of bang for your hard-earned buck without too much effort. With the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, the Pixel 4a, OnePlus Nord, and iPhone SE are going to face a tough price-performance rival. Despite a recommended retail price of only €269.90 ($318), this mid-range and fairly sized smartphone offers many of the features found on the more expensive models of the mentioned competitors. Oppo A91 review: life with a mid-range smartphone

I am quite sure that many of you are familiar with this: a particular delivery service that sells mediocre food at reasonable prices. This is just the right thing if you just want to fill up your stomach after a long day at work without getting into debt or risking food poisoning. It is a safe bet. However, it is because of such a run-of-the-mill delivery service (note: it might be a poor analogy) in the form of the Oppo A91 that makes us think it is great! This smartphone comes with just about enough of everything in terms of hardware, and will be able to deal with all that you throw at it. In this review, we’ll tell you what we liked about the Oppo A91 and the ‘leftovers’ which remain.

OnePlus Nord review: everything is forgiven

A drop in price and all is forgiven? Well yes. The OnePlus Nord launched Tuesday, July 21, from €399 is supposed to mark a new beginning, #newbeginnings. OnePlus is trying to reconcile with its early fans, a little overwhelmed by the race for premium and the price break started with the OnePlus 8/Pro. Everything, from the teasing through to the quality-to-price ratio of the OnePlus Nord exudes apology. And, after having been able to take the phone in hand and then test it, I must admit that all is well and truly forgiven.

The Asus ROG Phone 3 was launched on July 22nd where it was presented as “the most powerful gaming smartphone in the world” by the Taiwanese company. This is a huge promise: whether true or not, it makes little sense in this niche market. The ROG Phone 3 might be the most powerful gaming smartphone to date, where it is also the most mainstream gaming smartphone to be released that is quite unlike its other competitors. This is perhaps its greatest asset.

iPad Pro 12.9 (2020) review: a fast tablet for creatives

If you are looking for a tablet, the iPad is definitely a must as a potential candidate. This is especially true if you want to have access to the widest possible selection of apps and accessories. Should you not want to be shackled by a lack of computing power, then Apple’s latest iPad Pro is one that requires serious consideration. After having it go through a major overhaul in 2018, the fourth generation happens to be mostly model upgrades. I reviewed the 12.9-inch version to see what the new features have to offer and whether the unequivocal “buy” recommendation for those in the creative industry still applies.
