500: maintenance mode

Greetings from the Engine Room!

Sorry, but there's really nothing to see here right now. Our server is in maintenance mode – and our little bot is trying to sort the error messages with its last bit of energy.

Whether it was a data leak, a power outage in the cluster, or just a grumpy bit – we don't know yet. But what we do know is:

The data drama escalated into a server meltdown. But don't worry: We're on it.

What now?

  • Everything is surely running smoothly over at our colleagues from inside digital – why not stop by!
  • Or you could pass the time by visiting our social media channels – for example Instagram, YouTube or TikTok. At least there are no server problems there – promised.

Thanks for your patience. Our bot is already rebooting at full speed. 🔧

Huawei Nova 2 review: a sleek smartphone with a vision
Huawei introduced the Nova series at the IFA in 2016, and now its successor is heading to stores shortly before the 2017 trade show – but it bears little resemblance to the first Nova. The Huawei Nova 2’s new features: dual camera, a completely modern design, and the highlight—a 20-megapixel selfie cam—secure its place at the top of the mid-range smartphone market. We took the time to review it and here’s what we think.  Huawei Nova review: great design and price Dual cameras: Why they matter

100 Days with the HTC U11: When your ears ring with joy
In the wake of Google’s confirmed takeover of HTC’s Pixel development team, it’s only fitting to share some thoughts on the time I spent with the HTC U11—the latest flagship from the Taiwanese manufacturer. Given the circumstances, it would be such a shame if HTC would disappear from the scene, because smartphones like the HTC U11 are few and far between. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 review: the phablet you’ve always wanted
Samsung has brought back the Galaxy Note. After the Galaxy Note 7’s unflattering saga, many feared that the handset’s woes would mark the end of the series, but far from it. The Galaxy Note 8 sees the Korean tech giant bidding to get back on top in the XXL smartphone market. In this review, you’ll see why the Galaxy Note 8 highlights this claim, but there are also some sore points that deserve a good dose of criticism. After 100 days, I’m still in love with the Honor 8 Pro
Over 100 days have passed since Honor’s first phablet was launched, which also happens to be a about enough time to get an overall feel for the qualities and weaknesses of the smartphone. With this Honor 8 Pro, has the Chinese manufacturer successfully managed to climb up the premium phone ladder? In my opinion, without a shadow of a doubt, the answer is a resounding yes! Moto E4 Plus review: basic with a massive battery
Motorola is back with the latest additions to its E series, the Moto E4 and E4 Plus. 100 days with the Galaxy S8 is enough for you to love it or hate it
If 100 days is enough to measure the success of a president’s first term (which is a genuine measure that’s been used in the US since the 30’s), then considering the life cycle of a smartphone, it can easily be used to assess the behavior of both a device’s hardware and software. I decided to do just that and here is my impression of the  Galaxy S8’s  performance after 100 days of using it. Samsung Galaxy S8 review S8 vs S8+: what’s the difference?
