500: maintenance mode

Greetings from the Engine Room!

Sorry, but there's really nothing to see here right now. Our server is in maintenance mode – and our little bot is trying to sort the error messages with its last bit of energy.

Whether it was a data leak, a power outage in the cluster, or just a grumpy bit – we don't know yet. But what we do know is:

The data drama escalated into a server meltdown. But don't worry: We're on it.

What now?

  • Everything is surely running smoothly over at our colleagues from inside digital – why not stop by!
  • Or you could pass the time by visiting our social media channels – for example Instagram, YouTube or TikTok. At least there are no server problems there – promised.

Thanks for your patience. Our bot is already rebooting at full speed. 🔧

Galaxy S9 and S9+ battery test: The disappointing truth
The new Galaxy S9 and S9+ are a reflection of their predecessors, the S8 and S8+. This is true to the extent that their batteries have the same capacity: 3000 mAh for the S9 and 3500 mAh for the plus version. So the question is, how has the battery life responded to the increase in power? We analyzed the S9 and S9+ battery in detail. One year with the Galaxy S8: good and bad surprises
It’s been almost a year since I bought the Galaxy S8 and now it’s time to share my impressions as promised. The smartphone was considered one of the best when it was released, but has it maintained its reputation? Is it holding up well against the competition in 2018? Are there any technical problems? Here is my verdict after 365 days with the S8. Samsung’s latest S9 vs the S8: is the grass greener?  Love hate relationship with the Galaxy S9

LG V30S+ ThinQ: AI Cam still doesn’t mean perfect pictures
At MWC LG introduced the V30S ThinQ and the V30S+ ThinQ. We know, the names are hard. The new models are essentially the same as the LG V30, but have more RAM and internal memory. The most important innovation is the camera, which LG has taught a few tricks. We have a pre-series V30S+ ThinQ in house and got a closer look at the new functions. 100 days with the Honor View 10: An imperfect but reliable partner
It’s been three months since I inserted my SIM card, or rather my two SIM cards, into the Honor View 10. I’ve spent 100 days with the device, from morning to sunset, always side by side. Sometimes, I admit, I’ve slept with the smartphone next to me. In this article I’ll tell you what I liked most about Honor’s flagship. and what I didn’t find so convincing.

It’s now been two weeks since the arrival of the Google Pixel 2 XL in my hands and it’s time to tell you about my experience. After getting over the novelty factor, I’ve had time to examine the larger Pixel 2 in depth and there’s certainly more to it than what appears at first glance. Now, I feel confident to deliver a critical verdict on Google’s latest mobile offering. Prepare yourself, because perhaps it will not be completely pleasant…. 100 days with the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact: packed with power
Smartphones can be either compact or powerful: it seems like manufacturers use one of these two attributes to describe smartphones, but it’s hard to find a device that is both. Sony has achieved this with the Xperia Compact series. But can you actually ‘survive’ everyday use with a 4.6-inch smartphone? I was able to test the powerful yet compact Xperia XZ1 Compact for 100 days and I was more than impressed. Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) review: a more affordable S8?
Since its arrival in 2014, the A series has been one of Samsung’s most important products alongside their S smartphones. The South Korean manufacturer has decided not to launch replacements for its Galaxy A5 or the A3 (2017) this year, although the A3 will remain in the catalog and is now cheaper. Samsung, however, has now announced a new smartphone: the Galaxy A8 (2018). Currently available for $452 on Amazon, the Galaxy A8 is meant to be a competitor to the Honor View 10 or the OnePlus 5T (6 GB), but will it be able to compete with them? Honor View 10 review: Top-range phone yet to reach the top
During an event held in London, Honor presented the Honor 7X and View 10. The View 10, without a doubt, is the more interesting device, the high-end smartphone with artificial intelligence and Full View display ready to face the current big players on the market. As of March 12, you can pre-order the View 10 from the states. Will it succeed? In our hands-on review, the View 10 certainly seems to have potential.
