I have a Galaxy A5 (2017) phone and an Asda pay as you go SIM card with EE as the network provider, mobile data turned off and airplane mode disabled. Virtually all my calls are made through my landline on an anytime contract, but occasionally I use the mobile for calls from hotels. I have enabled wifi dialling, checked the balance on my SIM card, then made a mobile call from my home, close to my router, and checked my balance again – I found that I had paid for the call. Do I need to change any other settings or does this facility not work with pay as you go.
