Sometimes if your device isn’t working, the only way to fix this is by performing a factory reset. Be careful though because this will erase all of your data and saved settings, so it’s important to perform a backup in advance. You can save your data to a memory card or another non-internal memory.

Here’s how to do the factory reset:
- Find your device’s settings, which can be found in the app drawer or the notification bar by swiping down from top to button on your screen.
- In the settings, choose Backup & restore then Factory reset.
- To delete the data found within the internal storage, press ‘erase internal storage’.
- Select Reset phone.
- Confirm with Erase everything.
