Google’s Pixel Watches are some of the most advanced smartwatches with a premium design. However, they do not come cheap, especially the latest Pixel Watch 4. Luckily, there is now an ongoing sale at Amazon and Best Buy, which brings the smartwatch back to its record low price.
Specifically, the deal applies to the LTE or cellular model of the Pixel Watch 4, which has now dropped to $349 for the 41mm and $399 for the 45mm size. This is a $100 discount or 22% off and a bigger saving than on the GPS model. You can also choose from different colorways including Silver, Matte Black, and Champagne Gold.
Why Buy the Google Pixel Watch 4
The Google Pixel Watch 4 was launched in October. While it is a refinement of the Pixel Watch 3, it is arguably a substantial upgrade from the original Pixel Watch or Pixel Watch 2.
One part of that reason is the new Actua display. The AMOLED panel is still circular, but it is notably brighter, hitting 3,000 nits for the maximum brightness. This is significantly brighter than the predecessor and even beats many high end competitors. You can still get it in two sizes, 1.4 inches or 1.2 inches, with either size protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
The smartwatch carries over the round and pebble like shape, which gives it a sleek and premium look. It has a lightweight aluminum chassis while it is also IP68 rated and water resistant up to 50 meters.
More exciting upgrades are under the hood. Google’s Pixel Watch 4 is powered by the Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 chipset with a faster quad core processor. This makes the smartwatch smooth and snappy regardless of whether you are launching workouts or running apps.
A key new feature in the smartwatch is Satellite SOS for enabling emergency contact in remote areas when there is no cellular signal or Wi-Fi connectivity. The Pixel Watch 4 also carries over loss of pulse detection. For fitness, there is a Gemini AI health coach.
The Pixel Watch 4 offers longer battery life. The larger 45mm model lasts 40 hours between charges, and you can extend this to 72 hours if you enable battery saver. Charging is faster as well, refilling from flat to full in just 45 minutes for the 41mm model.
