500: maintenance mode

Greetings from the Engine Room!

Sorry, but there's really nothing to see here right now. Our server is in maintenance mode – and our little bot is trying to sort the error messages with its last bit of energy.

Whether it was a data leak, a power outage in the cluster, or just a grumpy bit – we don't know yet. But what we do know is:

The data drama escalated into a server meltdown. But don't worry: We're on it.

What now?

  • Everything is surely running smoothly over at our colleagues from inside digital – why not stop by!
  • Or you could pass the time by visiting our social media channels – for example Instagram, YouTube or TikTok. At least there are no server problems there – promised.

Thanks for your patience. Our bot is already rebooting at full speed. 🔧

Poco M3 Pro 5G review: Knocking on the Redmi Note 10 5G’s door
Just a few months ago after releasing a very capable Poco M3 handset, Xiaomi has now taken things one step further with the Poco M3 Pro 5G that carries a price tag of $199. At this price point, it is placed in direct competition with the Realme 8 5G as well as the Redmi Note 10 5G, considering how both smartphones have almost the same technical specifications.

iPad Pro 2021 review: Is it worth the upgrade?
If you place all three generations of iPads side by side and take a look at their respective screens from a top-down view, you’ll probably rub your eyes in disbelief. All of them bear an uncanny resemblance to one another. However, the changes are not always external, as this year’s edition of the iPad has seen a hardware upgrade underneath the hood that offers improved performance by leaps and bounds. In a way, it has skewed the direction of this review by making it into an amalgamation of a comparison between the old and the new, purchasing advice, and of course, the actual review itself. This begs the question: What makes the iPad Pro 2021 even better and is it worth your while?

ZTE Axon 30 Ultra review: Ticking off all the right boxes is inadequate
The ZTE Axon 30 Ultra was meant to go up head-to-head against the Android-powered flagships from Samsung, Xiaomi, and Oppo while making sure it remains pocket-friendly in terms of pricing. ZTE certainly did not skimp on the hardware, offering a 144Hz refresh rate display, a Snapdragon 888 SoC, and even a quad 64MP camera module – but are those enough to consider this as a premium smartphone? The answer lies in my full review.

Nokia X20 review: Sustainable smartphone done right
Nokia’s X20 hits the upper limit of the mid-range with a recommended retail price of €399, a price which converts to roughly $487. Sustainability is the main selling point of this handset. We did our homework to figure out whether that is the case in our review!

Soundcore Life Q35 review: Do the small updates convince a Q30 fan?
Quite surprisingly, Anker introduced the Soundcore Life Q35, an upgrade of its latest over-ear headphones with ANC. What’s new? You benefit from wear detection and can take advantage of the high-resolution LDAC codec. But will the minuscule upgrade convince a fan of its predecessor? We find out in the review!

Realme 8 5G review: Cheaper does not necessarily mean better

Compared to its predecessor, there were some significant hardware compromises that made the overall experience a disappointing one. In our review, check out whether picking up this cheap 5G smartphone is still worth your while, or whether you should simply look out for its predecessor.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 review: Simply ordinary
During its unveiling, the Redmi Note 10 was overshadowed by the Pro version in terms of hardware specifications, where the latter model introduced some new and interesting features to the mid-range smartphone market. The basic model, in turn, offers very tiny improvements over its predecessor Redmi Note 9, of which you will read about in greater detail in our review.
