The Xiaomi MIUI's interface happens to be one of the most popular on the market (alongside Samsung's revamped OneUI), but it is also one of the most complicated. Forget about stock Android, MIUI doesn't give in to the idea of minimalism and decided to roll out a slew of native apps, animations, and customizations. Here's my complete review of MIUI 12 for NextPit.
Rounded corners, a borderless display with the camera located in the upper left corner at the back: The Oppo Reno4 5G could also be an iPhone at first glance if it weren't for the punch-hole notch located in front. At the same time, the manufacturer flooded several iterations of the smartphone in the market. This review is about the standard version, which comes with 5G connectivity, a triple camera setup at the back, and super-fast charging capability.
My sense of hearing was teased, first with some playful French tunes. The bass levels are deep, while the cacophony of voices rise within me. I feel a slight degree of discomfort, but it could be due to the way the experience was designed with the form factor of Huawei's latest wireless earbuds. This is because the FreeBuds Pro tend to cause a little bit more of a squeeze in my ear canal than other models. There is a true feeling of musical enjoyment throughout the entire experience. The following song flows evenly, with the feeling of discomfort melting away. From soft sounds to the crystal clear string of a violin crying in the hands of a maestro, the audio range changes dramatically. Through it all, the FreeBuds Pro from Huawei provided me a very balanced and enjoyable listening experience, as though the company had grown up in this department. Read all about it in my review of what I deem to be one of the main competitors to the AirPods Pro that are available on the market at this moment.

"Ultra stops at nothing." After a pre-briefing and a keynote event, I still do not understand that slogan and the meaning that it tries to convey. But one thing is clear: the OnePlus 8T will be announced this Wednesday, October 14, at the price point of €599 ($704) while doing everything in order to deserve the letter 'T' engraved within the case, following the footsteps of its illustrious predecessors. Is the OnePlus 8T faithful to the heritage of the manufacturer's mid-range flagship series? While waiting for my complete review, here is a sneak peek in my hands-on of the OnePlus 8T for NextPit.
While they could have gone unnoticed alongside the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 and the Galaxy Note 20, the Samsung Galaxy Buds Live stood out with their innovative bean-shaped design. They are also the first true wireless headphones with ANC from the South Korean manufacturer. Here is my complete review for NextPit.
Shortly after Google’s Android 11 announcement, smartphone and wearables major Oppo confirmed the launch of a beta version updated ColorOS mobile operating system based on Android 11. For the past couple of weeks, I have been using the Oppo Find X2 - with this beta version of ColorOS 11 installed. Having spent a decent amount of time with the phone, it’s about time I share my experience with the latest, most feature-laden version of ColorOS so far. Note that we at NextPit had already published a primer on some of the fresh features on ColorOS 11. Read it here.
Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo! After reviewing the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 for more than two weeks, I'm overcome with the Cinderella syndrome and wish that the clock would never strike midnight. Here is my complete review of the best folding smartphone on the market for NextPit.
Having previously launched in India, the Reamle 7 series is coming to Europe. The new 7 and 7 Pro are true to the brand's vision and offer solid specs and affordable prices. I've been using the new Realme 7 Pro to see what it's all about. Is it a worthy upgrade of the Realme 6 Pro? And can it take on the other sub-€350 phones in Europe?
The first device from LG's new Explorer Project is here. The LG Wing is like nothing we've seen in the smartphone industry so far, and that's a good thing. For those who hark back to the days when mobiles were crazy and weird, the Wing is almost nostalgic. But is the swivel design practical in everyday use? Here’s our full review.
