500: maintenance mode

Greetings from the Engine Room!

Sorry, but there's really nothing to see here right now. Our server is in maintenance mode – and our little bot is trying to sort the error messages with its last bit of energy.

Whether it was a data leak, a power outage in the cluster, or just a grumpy bit – we don't know yet. But what we do know is:

The data drama escalated into a server meltdown. But don't worry: We're on it.

What now?

  • Everything is surely running smoothly over at our colleagues from inside digital – why not stop by!
  • Or you could pass the time by visiting our social media channels – for example Instagram, YouTube or TikTok. At least there are no server problems there – promised.

Thanks for your patience. Our bot is already rebooting at full speed. 🔧

Free Xbox Games Are Coming Soon — But There’s a Catch
Gaming is an expensive hobby—and it begins with hardware. Once you have that covered, there is the issue of the games themselves, which can quickly cost up to $80 for triple-A titles. Casual gamers in particular feel turned off by such high prices. Even free-to-play titles are not a real alternative at this point. Although the game itself is free, the game’s developer hides so many things behind a paywall that it quickly becomes a pricey adventure if one is not careful.

Switch 2 Players Rejoice: One of the Best Games Is Reportedly On Its Way
Although the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2 was a major success for Nintendo, some criticisms have since emerged. One major reason for player frustration is the limited lineup of launch games for the console. The End of Xbox? Microsoft Responds to Cancellation Rumors
Over the past couple of weeks, Microsoft, specifically its Xbox division, has repeatedly found itself in hot water. What started with a console hardware price increase in the US due to tariffs was followed by a whopping 50% price increase for the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Edition. Thus, the highest tier of the longstanding subscription now costs a whopping $29.99 each month. In response to these changes, many gamers have since canceled their subscriptions and criticized the company for what they consider an unjustifiable price increase.
