Foldable smartphones pack the most advanced designs and features, but they aren’t cheap. Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is a more affordable alternative to the standard Flip. Right now, it’s down to $629 from $959 at Amazon.
That’s a $330 discount (34% off) on the 256 GB variant, available in the Black colorway. You need to get the 128 GB if you want the White option.
Why Choose the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE
The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE (comparison) is one of the best budget-friendly foldables. Launched in July last year alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 7, the Fan Edition offers a more accessible option while still sharing many high-end features with its flagship counterpart.
Technically, the Flip 7 FE is a rebadged Flip 6 (review), but with Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2400 processor and 8 GB RAM. Despite the smaller memory, the chipset delivers strong performance and handles graphics-intensive tasks without slowing down.

The design is a compact clamshell built with aluminum, making it lightweight yet durable. It features a 3.4-inch cover display that’s bright and sharp. You can run select widgets and apps on it, and with the Good Lock app, nearly all apps are accessible without opening the main screen. The main display is a 6.7-inch flexible panel with a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 2,600 nits.
Thanks to the clamshell form, you can use the main 50 MP sensor for selfies, offering sharper detail and more cropping flexibility. It’s paired with a 12 MP ultrawide camera for landscapes. The 4,000 mAh battery is modest but sufficient for a full day of moderate use.
