Samsung launched the Galaxy Watch 8 just a couple of months ago, and its higher price was a major factor that held back many early adopters. But if you’ve been patient, today’s deal might be worth the wait. Right now on Amazon, the Galaxy Watch 8 is down by $35, dropping from $350 to just $315.

This discount applies to the 40 mm Silver variant of the Wi-Fi model. Meanwhile, the Graphite version in the same case size is slightly higher at $319, still a modest $30 cut.

Who Is the Galaxy Watch 8 For?

Samsung gave its latest Galaxy Watch a major design refresh. The standard Galaxy Watch 8 features a new squircle shape, or officially called Cushion Design, which blends a rectangular chassis with rounded corners. It still has a circular display, but the overall look feels more premium compared to the classic round form.

The 1.3-inch AMOLED screen is significantly brighter, peaking at 3,000 nits in HDR mode. Despite the standout design, it retains its rugged MIL-STD-810H rating along with IP68 and 5 ATM water resistance.

Health tracking also gets a boost. The upgraded BioActive sensor delivers more accurate readings for heart rate, SpO2, and temperature, along with on-demand ECG and blood pressure monitoring. New additions include the Antioxidant Index, which checks carotenoid levels, and Vascular Load, offering deeper insights into cardiovascular wellness. Smart sleep coaching and running form analysis round out the fitness features, helping you recover faster and train smarter.

Under the hood, the familiar Exynos W1000 chipset returns, but it’s more efficient and capable than ever. The penta-core processor delivers snappy performance, and Samsung has increased the battery capacity. Expect around 40 hours of general use with always-on display enabled, or even longer if you turn it off.
