Nothing’s devices are arguably some of the most eye-catching and modern-looking. That design philosophy extends to the new Headphones (1). If you have been waiting to grab a set at a discounted price, now might be the best time.

The Nothing Headphones (1) have dropped to a new low of $239 from $299. That translates to a $60 saving, which is more than modest. You can choose between the classic White or Black color options.

What makes the Nothing Headphones (1) worth it?

The Nothing Headphones (1) are the brand’s first over-ear wireless ANC headphones. They serve as a high-end alternative to established models like Sony’s WH-1000XM series and Apple’s AirPods Max. They are also more affordable, and with this discount, they are more appealing than ever.

Like the Nothing Earbuds, they feature transparent elements in their design. The rectangular ear cup shells reveal inner components such as the driver housing, giving them a semi-funky, space-inspired look. Instead of touch controls, they use a combination of physical inputs, including a paddle for playback and a roller for scrolling.

Beyond their distinctive exterior, they deliver impressive audio hardware. The 40 mm drivers are tuned by audio brand KEF for rich and clear sound. Bass is prominent, but you can switch to different profiles or adjust the equalizer to your preference. They also support high-resolution audio via the LDAC codec.

Noise cancellation is another strong point. Thanks to multiple microphones and an optimized chip, they offer smart adaptive noise control that automatically adjusts ANC or transparency mode based on your surroundings. You can also manually select different ANC levels.

Battery life reaches up to 80 hours on a single charge, one of the longest runtimes available. With ANC enabled, playback time is reduced to 35 hours, which is still impressive.

Is design a big factor when you buy headphones? What do you think of the styling of the Nothing Headphones (1)?
