500: maintenance mode

Greetings from the Engine Room!

Sorry, but there's really nothing to see here right now. Our server is in maintenance mode – and our little bot is trying to sort the error messages with its last bit of energy.

Whether it was a data leak, a power outage in the cluster, or just a grumpy bit – we don't know yet. But what we do know is:

The data drama escalated into a server meltdown. But don't worry: We're on it.

What now?

  • Everything is surely running smoothly over at our colleagues from inside digital – why not stop by!
  • Or you could pass the time by visiting our social media channels – for example Instagram, YouTube or TikTok. At least there are no server problems there – promised.

Thanks for your patience. Our bot is already rebooting at full speed. 🔧

Nothing Ear (open) Review: Open Earbuds that Pack a Punch
What else does Nothing’s excellent line-up of in-ear wireless earbuds require in 2024? That’s right, open-ear earbuds are an alternative to bone-conduction headphones and the Xiaomi Open Wear Stereo (review). With the Ear (open), Nothing introduced just such earbuds and we have gotten our hands on them for an exclusive review before the launch! Can Nothing pack its qualities in an open-ear design?

Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Review: Design Choice Ruined its Potential
I didn’t like the design of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro but that is just my personal opinion that didn’t affect the good performance of the wireless earphones. I don’t like the design of the Galaxy Buds 3, either. However, this design greatly affects the user experience this time around. In this Galaxy Buds 3 review, I’ll share my thoughts on whether this flaw is a reason to turn down a purchase or not.

iPhone 16 Pro vs 15 Pro: How Much Better (or Worse?) is the New Camera
On September 9, Apple spoke for almost 99 minutes about two new Watches, two AirPods, and—of course—the four new iPhones. A whopping 14 minutes of that evening were devoted to the new camera in the iPhone 16 Pro alone. But what has actually improved here? We take a look at the new hardware and show you where the new camera has improved—and where it’s even worse.

Affordable Earbuds: Budget Sound, No Frills, All Thrills
The Sony WF-C510 are affordable wireless headphones that retail for $59.99 a pop. They don’t come with Active Noise Cancellation or LDAC codec support. Despite a super-compact design, the battery life is solid and Sony has retained some very practical features. Are these Sony headphones a good del for those looking for a cheap pair of wireless earphones? I share my honest opinion in this full review.

Galaxy Ring: Reliable Tracking, When the Software Keeps Up
I’m sticking to my stance on smart rings: They’re not really fitness devices, but more geared towards health monitoring. Sure, fitness plays a big role in overall health, but there’s a distinction. And this is where Samsung had a real shot at bridging the gap—but they missed it. The Galaxy Ring? Solid build quality, no doubt. But what about its health and fitness features? Let’s take a look at the data and see what it shows us.
