500: maintenance mode

Greetings from the Engine Room!

Sorry, but there's really nothing to see here right now. Our server is in maintenance mode – and our little bot is trying to sort the error messages with its last bit of energy.

Whether it was a data leak, a power outage in the cluster, or just a grumpy bit – we don't know yet. But what we do know is:

The data drama escalated into a server meltdown. But don't worry: We're on it.

What now?

  • Everything is surely running smoothly over at our colleagues from inside digital – why not stop by!
  • Or you could pass the time by visiting our social media channels – for example Instagram, YouTube or TikTok. At least there are no server problems there – promised.

Thanks for your patience. Our bot is already rebooting at full speed. 🔧

Apple May Ditch Touch ID from iPhones Permanently
Although Touch ID still remains on selected iPad tablets and the iPhone SE, it is likely this biometric scanning method will be phased out in its entirety within the near future. Apple looks to be moving in that direction by heavily pushing Face ID on its newer iPhones and iPad Pro tablets. A new report shed additional light on how the iPhone manufacturer could be going all in to include Face ID tech in all its future devices. Skip the Samsung Galaxy A55 If You Hate Slow Charging
Samsung’s mid-range Galaxy A54 (review) is a best-seller and remains very popular as one of the company’s flagship Galaxy smartphones, thanks to the good value-for-money proposition that it offers. As for its successor which will most probably be the Galaxy A55, it might rely on the same old, trusted formula while retaining several key features such as the dated charging speed. Rumor: Same old 60 Hz Display in the iPhone 16
While this year’s iPhone 15 (review) and iPhone 15 Plus gained the Dynamic Island display, Apple noticeably failed to improve the refresh rate on the two standard models, retaining the 60 Hz panels for yet another year. Numerous reports suggested that Apple might improve the panel in the 2024 iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, but it does seem to amount to naught with a brand new rumor.
