500: maintenance mode

Greetings from the Engine Room!

Sorry, but there's really nothing to see here right now. Our server is in maintenance mode – and our little bot is trying to sort the error messages with its last bit of energy.

Whether it was a data leak, a power outage in the cluster, or just a grumpy bit – we don't know yet. But what we do know is:

The data drama escalated into a server meltdown. But don't worry: We're on it.

What now?

  • Everything is surely running smoothly over at our colleagues from inside digital – why not stop by!
  • Or you could pass the time by visiting our social media channels – for example Instagram, YouTube or TikTok. At least there are no server problems there – promised.

Thanks for your patience. Our bot is already rebooting at full speed. 🔧

Neabot NoMo Q11 hands-on: Affordable mopping and vacuuming robot with laser navigation
The Neabot NoMo Q11 is a special kind of vacuum robot. Not only because of its extensive range of functions, but also or mainly because of its futuristic design. If I didn’t know better, I would suspect that the German designer Luigi Colani was behind it—who is known worldwide for his biomorphic shapes. The robot advertises suction, wiping and sweeping functions, as well as Alexa voice control and LiDAR navigation. Reason enough to take a closer look at the Neabot NoMo Q11.

Ecovacs Deebot X1 Turbo review: Robot mop makes short work of carpets
The mopping and vacuuming robot known as the Ecovacs Deebot X1 Turbo convinces with a wide range of functions. It cleans using a suction power of 5,000 Pa and two rotating wiping pads. There is also a station with two tanks to hold clean and dirty water, which the robot regularly uses to rinse its two mops. In addition, you can also use the voice assistant to ‘summon’ the robot when some key lime pie has landed on the kitchen floor instead of in your mouth for the umpteenth time. Sounds great, doesn’t it?

Google Nest Cam review: Stay safe on the cloud
Are you looking for a smart, flexible security solution that even a chimpanzee with a smartphone can operate? If you have answered in the affirmative, then the battery-powered Google Nest Cam might be perfect for you. The surveillance camera costs $179.99, and you do not need a hub or other smart home products to get started. In this review after spending a few days checking it out, we have managed to distill several obvious strengths and a few weak poits. Lights, camera, action!

Matter: Which companies support the smart home standard?
With the backing of Amazon, Apple, Google, Ikea, Samsung, and other electronics heavyweights, Matter is well positioned to be the smart home standard. With more than 200 brands backing the new specification, and an increasing number of product categories, it can be hard to keep track of which companies support the standard. Yeedi Mop Station review: Great concept, fair execution
The main function of a robot vacuum cleaner is to suck up dust—and some devices feature an extra mopping pad. With the Yeedi Mop Station however, this extra feature—mopping—becomes the main characteristic. With a self-cleaning station, the Yeedi Mop Station is a brilliant concept, but is the execution worth the investment? Check out our review! Also read: How to choose the best robot vacuum cleaner
