MIUI v5 Review: a Crowd-Pleasing Custom ROM
Custom ROMS are great: with very little effort, you're able to switch out the preinstalled software on your smartphone for a new one that offers you more options and quite often a more attractive look. A nice custom ROM that fits this build is MIUI, of which I tried out version 5 on my Galaxy Nexus.

HTC One M7 review: An Android Superhero!
HTC is getting back to basics: after starting a long One series over the past few years with One X, One S and One V, the manufacturer has presented its master smartphone at the start of 2013. With its minimalistic design and technological superiority, the flagship makes all if its predecessors look old-fashioned and teaches its competitors the meaning of fear. The HTC One ups the ante for the Android Champion league and its pros heavily outweigh its cons. When putting the challenger to the test, is this device as good in practice as we expect it to be? The naked truth will be revealed to you in today's hands-on test.

CamSam PLUS - Speed camera – Say Good-bye to Speeding Fines
I was using the Android app Copilot, but blimey was it ever getting on my nerves. I stuck it out as long as I could, but eventually lost patience with it and resorted to good old Google Navigation, which has been working out quite nicely for me. Even though it might not have as many features as some other navigations apps, it’s reliable and so far I felt it did everything I needed it to do. Well, except for the whole 'Erm, please could you issue a warning when a speed camera is coming up' thing, that is: I don’t mean to imply that my conduct in traffic is anything but exemplary, but—it would do my pocket book a world of good if an app warned me about speed cameras. This is where CamSam PLUS - Speed camera comes in: the application supposedly acts as a speed and red light camera warning system. Let’s take a closer look at it, shall we?
