Arguably among the most popular of headphones brands, Skullcandy has, over the years, carved a niche for itself as the maker of affordable but good quality wired and wireless audio products. Apart from being popular in North America and Europe, the brand is also quite famous in India. SkullCandy India recently sent us their latest, entry-level TWS product – the Skullcandy Sesh Evo for review. Having extensively used them for well over two weeks, here are my thoughts on the Sesh Evo.
“Ultra stops at nothing.” After a pre-briefing and a keynote event, I still do not understand that slogan and the meaning that it tries to convey. But one thing is clear: the OnePlus 8T will be announced this Wednesday, October 14, at the price point of €599 ($704) while doing everything in order to deserve the letter ‘T’ engraved within the case, following the footsteps of its illustrious predecessors. Is the OnePlus 8T faithful to the heritage of the manufacturer’s mid-range flagship series? While waiting for my complete review, here is a sneak peek in my hands-on of the OnePlus 8T for NextPit.
Apple’s HomePod was a flop with mainstream consumers if we were to be really honest with ourselves. Apple seems to have finally acknowledged this after many years and earlier today, they have apparently redeemed themselves from their past mistake by introducing a cheaper product. Known as the HomePod Mini, this small and round device costs only a fraction of its big, chunky predecessor.
Earlier today, Apple introduced its new iPhone 12 series. A surprising addition to the lineup was the iPhone Mini, which at 699 Euros is the new affordable iPhone and offers nearly the same technical specifications as its big brother, only in a more compact format. While the iPhone 12 Mini gets a 5.4-inch screen, the form factor is even more compact than the previous 4.7-inch models.
While they could have gone unnoticed alongside the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 and the Galaxy Note 20, the Samsung Galaxy Buds Live stood out with their innovative bean-shaped design. They are also the first true wireless headphones with ANC from the South Korean manufacturer. Here is my complete review for NextPit.
Shortly after Google’s Android 11 announcement, smartphone and wearables major Oppo confirmed the launch of a beta version updated ColorOS mobile operating system based on Android 11. For the past couple of weeks, I have been using the Oppo Find X2 – with this beta version of ColorOS 11 installed. Having spent a decent amount of time with the phone, it’s about time I share my experience with the latest, most feature-laden version of ColorOS so far. Note that we at NextPit had already published a primer on some of the fresh features on ColorOS 11. Read it here.
Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo! After reviewing the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 for more than two weeks, I’m overcome with the Cinderella syndrome and wish that the clock would never strike midnight. Here is my complete review of the best folding smartphone on the market for NextPit.
Having previously launched in India, the Reamle 7 series is coming to Europe. The new 7 and 7 Pro are true to the brand’s vision and offer solid specs and affordable prices. I’ve been using the new Realme 7 Pro to see what it’s all about. Is it a worthy upgrade of the Realme 6 Pro? And can it take on the other sub-€350 phones in Europe?
The first device from LG’s new Explorer Project is here. The LG Wing is like nothing we’ve seen in the smartphone industry so far, and that’s a good thing. For those who hark back to the days when mobiles were crazy and weird, the Wing is almost nostalgic. But is the swivel design practical in everyday use? Here’s our full review.
With the entry-level C11 smartphone, can Realme be able to take smartphones that retail for below €100 to a whole new level of performance? After all, the Helios G35 is one of the latest SoCs to be released. The manufacturer designed this processor specifically to cater to affordable gaming smartphones, and that sounds quite promising! Apart from the number of cores that this chipset carries, the smartphone also exudes personality with an iconic bar and in my opinion, a far too obvious manufacturer logo right at the back – accompanied by a generous battery size that offers a whopping 5,000 mAh. In this review, we will find out together just how well the new processor performs in the Realme smartphone.
