WhatsApp Backup Can't be Found

In moving to a new phone and loading WhatsApp, when getting to the restore screen, it says there is no backup on Google Drive when I can see the file. How can I get WhatsApp to recognize it?

I think your Whatsapp application is faulty, you should download the latest version of WhatssAp from a reputable provider

The Google Drive account and phone number are the same. A box pops up that says that my account (and names the exact account) does not have a backup to restore. I have uninstalled/reinstalled WhatsApp many times.
