Motorola Moto G — Messaging problems

I noticed that my messages that had been sent successfully,started coming back to me,as if I was sending to myself? Tried to sort it but cannot seem to get any results as to what to do. Could anyone please help. I am new to android.

Did you check out whether the mail addressn being sent is correct?
Also, it's possible that the mail fails to be sent out thereby returning to your inbox, which seems to send to yourself.
