This one reminded me alot of the ancient "Combat" game on atari, not sure if that was an inspiration or not but it definitely appeared to be.

Which is GREAT! because I can recall dumping hours into that old title, and its nice to see a more updated one with better graphics.

I like 3D tank games, like World of Tanks! Maybe you can do a 3D version of this game. Would be cool.
