Hi there,
After being dropped several times the screen of my galaxy note 2 is dead (no light) but the phone still works; i believe the "touch" screen is still there because when the phone rings I can answer calls by sliding my finger on the screen (although I can't see anything but I already know where the buttons are...).
I want to connect to Kies to backup my phone and then hard-reset it before I take it out for repair. When connected, Kies recognizes the phone but requires that I enter my security pattern to unlock it. Obviously I can't do that because the screen is off. Any clue please???
Also, would I be able to reset the phone through Kies? I don't know since I never used Kies before.
