Hey Tejinder, if you root and mod your device you don't get OTA updates anymore via Kies, you have to update manually, but if you're into flashing custom ROMs you'd tend to be aware of when new updates are available for your device anyway. Plus, as soon as the firmware is leaked you can install it straight away on your own without waiting for Samsung to get organized! So just keep an eye out for news of firmware for your S4 (you can currently flash Android 4.3 on it)

HI, I am new to this forum, I have the Metro pcs Samsung Galaxy s4 M919n. It is locked according to Metro pcs rules:mad:and unable to be unlocked for 90 days . AS there is no specific root for the metro Galaxy S4 can I root it with any other S4 root.?
It cost far too much money to brick it. LOL
