HTC Desire HD — re ruturning htc hd desire back to fac reset

hi all nice to be here i just joined recently and been reading the posts and gettin to know a lil about the site before i joined in , im singer from scotland , i have an htc desire hd running android version 4.1.2 , kernel ver 3.0.45 jellytime r17 i am so new to this it is unbelievable lol. i want to return this phone to its original state and wonder is it possible , i dotn know anything about roms kernels or whatever, i thought you guys may have an idea about this with the expertise i see in the forums

Since there's not an official Android 4 for the DHD, returning it to an "original" setting would mean Android 2.3. Good luck finding *anyone* who ever did that. ;)

With HTC phones it's normally A 'RUU' you flash that would return you to stock, though it can change from model to model. Check XDA here for more device specific experience.
