500: maintenance mode

Greetings from the Engine Room!

Sorry, but there's really nothing to see here right now. Our server is in maintenance mode – and our little bot is trying to sort the error messages with its last bit of energy.

Whether it was a data leak, a power outage in the cluster, or just a grumpy bit – we don't know yet. But what we do know is:

The data drama escalated into a server meltdown. But don't worry: We're on it.

What now?

  • Everything is surely running smoothly over at our colleagues from inside digital – why not stop by!
  • Or you could pass the time by visiting our social media channels – for example Instagram, YouTube or TikTok. At least there are no server problems there – promised.

Thanks for your patience. Our bot is already rebooting at full speed. 🔧

PS5 Game Accused of Sexism Could be Released on the Nintendo Switch 2: A Bad Idea?
One of the PS5’s most sexist games will soon be arriving on the Nintendo Switch 2. The title? Stellar Blade, an action-adventure game that has caused a stir due to the hypersexualization of its protagonist. Is the game really as sexist as it’s made out to be? Also, could its release on the Switch 2, a predominantly family console, pose a problem?

The Next Xbox Could Change Gaming Forever
Microsoft was initially rumored to be dropping out of the console race, but these speculations were later debunked when the company confirmed earlier this year that it still plans to bring successors to the Xbox Series X/S. Now, it’s doubling down on this commitment while revealing a new partnership with AMD and a major shift in the Xbox gaming platform. Don’t miss: How to play Xbox games on your iPhone or iPad

Nintendo Sold 3.5 Million Switch 2s in 4 Days and I’ve Found Something to Complain About
The Nintendo Switch 2 is a massive hit. Sales of the portable console have exploded since its release. Nintendo fans are thrilled. What about me? Well, I’m spreading negativity from the depths of my cave with the following “hot take”: if the Nintendo Switch 2 is so successful, it’s because Nintendo is literally starving its fans, who have become victims of scalping that gets very exhausting.

YouTube Announces Major Change to Premium–Users Are Outraged
Digital advertising pays the bills for most of the internet, and YouTube is no exception. While those ad dollars keep the platform free to use, plenty of viewers would rather avoid commercials altogether—which is why YouTube Premium exists. For $14 a month, Premium removes ads across the entire service and lets you download videos for offline viewing, a perk frequent fliers swear by. The catch? It’s pricey.
